Sofía Escalante

Sofía began developing an interest in music at a very young age. Her passion for singing and music steadily grew, as she consistently embraced the artistic opportunities that came her way throughout her life.

At just seven years old, she made her debut as the youngest—and at that time the only—female child vocalist to perform with the Costa Rica Philharmonic Orchestra during the 2012 concert season at the Teatro Popular Melico Salazar, in a tribute to ABBA and The Carpenters.

Today, Sofía is a sophomore at Berklee College of Music, pursuing a double major in Contemporary Writing and Production and Music Business.

She continues to train her voice and refine her technique while composing her own music and lyrics, accompanying herself on piano and guitar. At 21, she has already released four singles and is currently working on her LP.
